A newly refurbished, beautifully furnished 2-bedroom apartment on a quiet side street in Fitzrovia, two minutes from Oxford Street and five from Soho. Two king-size bedrooms with hotel-grade bedding, a brand-new kitchen, 43″ 4K Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street stations are a 3-minute walk. Sleeps 4.
The Space
Flat 2 sits on the second floor of a handsome period building on Percy Street, one of Fitzrovia’s prettiest streets — a two-minute stroll from the shops of Oxford Street yet tucked away from the crowds.
Freshly refurbished in crisp whites and soft greys, with pale oak-effect floors running through every room, tall sash windows dressed with charcoal blackout curtains, and a smart entryphone system.
Kitchen, living & dining — A bright, open-plan room with two sash windows, a wall-mounted 43″ 4K QLED Smart TV (Roku, with Netflix, Prime, Disney+, YouTube — just sign in), a plush memory-foam corner sofa, a marble-effect oval dining table seating six on gold-framed velvet chairs, nesting gold coffee tables, a large round mirror and a vintage-style wall clock. Fast Wi-Fi throughout.
Bedroom 1 — A generous double-aspect room with two sash windows and its own wall-mounted 43″ 4K Smart TV. King-size upholstered bed (150 x 200 cm) with a pocket-sprung medium mattress, duck-feather duvet and pillows, crisp hotel-quality linen, protectors on everything, bedside tables with drawers and touch-dimmable bedside lamps.
Bedroom 2 — A calm, cosy second bedroom with the same king-size bed, pocket-sprung mattress, feather bedding and hotel linen, white bedside drawers, dimmable lamps and blackout curtains. Beds are made up fresh for every arrival.
Kitchen — Brand-new white gloss kitchen with sleek black worktops, metro-tile splashback and a stainless extractor hood: electric oven, four-zone ceramic hob, Toshiba microwave, under-counter fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine (welcome pods provided), kettle and toaster. Properly equipped: Tefal stone non-stick pans, 12-piece dinner set, 16-piece cutlery set, knife block, chopping board, full utensil set, mugs, wine glasses, tumblers, colander, tea towels, dish rack and a soft-close recycling bin.
Bathroom — A hotel-style bathroom in grey marble-effect tile: full-size bath with glass screen and overhead shower, filtered high-pressure shower head, heated chrome towel rail, vanity basin with drawers and a backlit round mirror. Plush 100% cotton towels, bath mats and hotel toiletries (shampoo and shower gel) provided.
The extras — Hair dryer, iron and ironing board, wooden hangers, floor fan, travel cot on request, cleaning kit for longer stays, carbon-monoxide alarm, key safe for self check-in, spare loo roll — and a washing machine and tumble dryer in the building for guests’ use.
The whole apartment is yours, with self check-in via a secure key safe so you can arrive whenever suits you.
Please note: the apartment is on the second floor with no lift (two flights of stairs). Not suitable for guests with limited mobility or very heavy luggage.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD — FITZROVIA
Fitzrovia is where Londoners go to eat. Percy Street itself is lined with restaurants, and Charlotte Street — one of the city’s great dining streets — is 60 seconds away: everything from fine-dining tasting menus to Lebanese, Greek, Italian, Japanese, tapas and old-school pubs like the Fitzroy Tavern and the Newman Arms. It’s a proper neighbourhood with a village feel, yet you are standing in the geographic centre of London.
On your doorstep (walking times from the front door): Oxford Street shopping — 2 min · Tottenham Court Road station (Elizabeth, Central & Northern lines) — 3 min · Goodge Street station (Northern line) — 3 min · Charlotte Street restaurants — 1 min · Soho — 5 min · The British Museum — 8 min · Bloomsbury & Russell Square — 10 min · Oxford Circus, Regent Street & Carnaby Street — 10 min · Theatreland (Shaftesbury Avenue) — 10 min · Covent Garden & the Royal Opera House — 12 min · Chinatown & Leicester Square — 12 min · Regent’s Park — 15 min · Trafalgar Square & the National Gallery — 18 min · Outernet London — 4 min · UCL, SOAS and the Wellcome Collection — 8–12 min.
Food & drink favourites nearby — Charlotte Street and Goodge Street for dinner; the cafés and bakeries of Rathbone Place and Newman Street for breakfast; Soho for late-night cocktails; Chinatown for dim sum. Supermarkets (Tesco Express and Sainsbury’s Local) and pharmacies are all within a 3-minute walk.
Your feet are the best transport here — most of the West End is within 15 minutes on foot. Elizabeth line from Tottenham Court Road: Heathrow in around 35 minutes without changing; Canary Wharf 15 min; Paddington 4 min; Liverpool Street 6 min. Central line: Bond Street, Oxford Circus, Bank, Stratford. Northern line: King’s Cross St Pancras (Eurostar) 5 min from Goodge Street; Camden, London Bridge, Waterloo. Gatwick: Thameslink from St Pancras, about 45 min door to door; Stansted / Luton via King’s Cross St Pancras. Buses along Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street run to every corner of London, all night. Santander bike-hire docks on Rathbone Place and Charlotte Street; black cabs and Ubers always close by. No parking — Congestion Charge / ULEZ zone.
Self check-in from 3 pm via key safe; check-out by 11 am (early/late by arrangement when possible). Fast Wi-Fi throughout — ideal for remote working. Shared laundry: a washing machine and tumble dryer in the building are available to guests. Fresh linen and towels for every stay; mid-stay clean available for longer bookings. The building is on a lively street with restaurants below — perfect for foodies, and the bedrooms are set back and quiet, but if you need absolute silence this may not be the right fit. No parties or events; no smoking anywhere in the building; no pets. Suitable for families (travel cot available). Quiet hours 11 pm – 7 am out of respect for neighbours. Minimum stay 2 nights. Professionally managed by The Velvet Teacup — we’re a message away if you need anything during your stay.
